German courses with a focus on art / design or music
German universities require different proof of sufficient German language skills from foreign applicants: As a rule, applicants need to have passed the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule test. Foreign applicants who already have a higher education entrance qualification for Germany and have been granted a place in their desired course of study must usually take the “German Language Test for the Higher Education Admission of Foreign Applicants” (DSH). The examination takes place at the university which has confirmed the place of study. It comprises a written and an oral part. Sometimes a passed German as a Foreign Language Test (TestDaF) at level 4 is required instead.
Whether telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule, TestDaF or DSH, we offer international applicants interested in studying art / design or music in Germany artistically and musically oriented German courses that prepare them precisely for the respective exam. At the same time, our integrative German courses impart basic knowledge in the subjects art/design, music and music theory in order to optimally prepare international applicants for their future studies.
To ensure that participants have a good start and can easily follow the lessons, all participants with previous knowledge of the German language first take an assessment test so that they can be assigned to the correct course level. The duration of the course depends on your previous knowledge.
All our courses focus on your personal needs and learning goals. Your success is our success!
